Olapic, a New York City-based visual content marketing platform has acquired a similar company out of San Mateo, California, called Piqora whose assets include content scheduling for Instagram and Pinterest, and a shoppable Instagram solution called Tapshop.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the acquired company will be merged into Olapic.

Olapic, which launched out of beta in August 2012, helps retailers and brands by collecting and curating consumer and brand-generated imagery and then measuring and boosting its impact across marketing channels such as e-commerce, email, digital advertising, retargeting, direct mail, outdoor, and print.
