Danny Willett clinched his first major title following a three-shot victory at the Masters, becoming the first European to win at Augusta National since 1999.
Willett produced a stunning final round on Sunday, which, combined with a Jordan Spieth collapse, saw the world No 9 clinch a first major of his career.
The 28-year-old from Sheffield only confirmed his participation last week after his wife Nicole gave birth to the couple’s first child.

As ever, the world of sport reacted on Twitter, with stars from in and outside golf getting involved.
Fellow British stars Luke Donald, Ian Poulter and Paul Lawrie tweeted messages of congratulations, as did Irishman Shane Lowry, who finished tied for 39th place, while 2008 champion Trevor Immelman joked that Willett would choose bangers and mash at the Champions Dinner in 12 months.
There were also congratulations from former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan – another sporting star from Sheffield – and Yorkshire cricketer Tim Bresnan.
England strikers past and present were also keen to lend their support, with Michael Owen and Harry Kane both celebrating seeing the cross of St George at the top of the leaderboard.
Tennis star Laura Robson also took to the social media site, but she focussed on runner-up Spieth – who as last year’s winner had to present Willett with his Green Jacket.
