Pinterest has made it from the popular app to retail in the new store, “Pinspiration” in Phoenix.

Brooke Roe, a Pinterest enthusiast, has created the world’s first retail store that focuses on art projects stemming from the app, and business is booming.

Roe came up with the idea when she realized that her life was too busy to focus on crafts due to the extensive traveling for supplies, making space at home, spending and cleaning. “I was on Pinterest, loved it, but I was pinning and not doing anything with my pins,” Roe said. After speaking with other people, she found that others had the same issue. Once she brought up the idea of a Pinterest studio that provides customers with tools, materials and a clean space to put it all together, she patented the idea and name and filed a business plan naming herself as CEO of the inspired store, Pinspiration.

At Pinspiration, near Desert Ridge Market Place, customers are invited to drop in and create a project. Each member in the party can create his or her own project or work together. In addition to crafts, the store also offers a glow in the dark splatter room. Pinspiration has services for birthday parties, wedding showers, baby showers or a simple night out.

The store will attract people of all ages, with projects to do for kids, a small play area for young children, along with a bar for 21 and over. The Pinspiration claim to fame is that anyone can find something fun to create in the store, located 5410 E High St #105, Phoenix, AZ 85054.
