Cerys Matthews’ face looks VERY different during Lorraine appearance as Twitter asks about surgery

Cerys Matthews looked rather youthful today as she appeared on chat show Lorraine.

The 46-year-old star’s face appeared different and fans have been asking on Twitter for weeks about whether or not she’s had work done.

One wrote: “What on earth has Cerys Matthews done to her face?! Why do people disfigure themselves?? She looked much better before (in dismay).”

Another asked: “What’s the deal with Cerys Matthews face?”

Her face appeared tighter and her lips were definitely plumped up during her interview this morning.

The Welsh star appeared on the show to promote Water Aid with her hair in a stylish bob.

She opted for an edgy look, wearing a dark blue shirt with a white collar, dark trousers and boots.

The singer spoke about plastic surgery back in 2008 but denied she’d had work done.

She said: “I’ve got kind of a strange face. I’ve got massive cheekbones but not in a good way. But you have to accept the way you look.

“Or you go to the plastic surgeon and they say, ‘No we can’t do anything about your chin’ and you go away.’

Quizzed if she’d had surgery, she told The Mirror: “I have nothing against plastic surgery but it’s not up there with the things I think about.”

And not everyone thinks she’s ruined her looks by possibly having surgery, with one Twitter user gushing about her appearance.

He tweeted: “Oh gosh Cerys Matthews just been on # lorraine still looking as sensational as all those years ago still got that incredibly sexy voice.”

Cerys recently returned from an eye-opening trip to India with Water Aid.
